A Lament for Moths

Told through the eyes of a child who takes us on a journey of his life, our world, the play looks at what or who creates violence and its effect on young people. It is a play concerned with responsibility, with the consequences of actions, with how we relate to one another, with the world we have created, with our fear and destruction of nature and ultimately about how we find peace in unity and make safer relationships in a world bent on war. It is an exploration of masculinity and what it is to be a young male in today’s culture.

‘A Lament for Moths’ is designed for 10 – 13 year olds and tours to Primary/Secondary Schools from May 12th to July 17th 2009.
